adidas has announced legendary Stan Smith tennis shoe will be wearing in Plimeknit.

adidas（HQ：Herzogenaurach, Germany）はStan SmithのPrimeknit バージョンを5月30日発表した。ホワイトのニットアッパーにグリーンのヒールタブで、レザーのクラシックモデルとは異なる新バージョンという特徴をアピールしている。クラシックのレザーアッパーに比較して軽量化とブリーザブル機能は大幅に強化された。グローバル発売は６月初頭と発表されている。

アディダスは全世界でスタン・スミス販売を2012年から停止し、ほぼ２年の休止期間を置いて2014年に最発売した。最発売第１弾は１月、第２弾は３月で、いずれも複数カラーを発売した。レザーバージョンのNew Stan Smithはマルチカラー展開を進めているが、Plimeknitバージョンはホワイトの１色のみである。Stan Smith Primeknitの新しいオーセンティックモデルという位置付けを強調しているのである。
