Rory Mcllroy signs with Nike Golf

The deal worth $250M,10-year.

Nike announced Rory Mcllroy to join  roster of Nike Athlete. Nike Golf is also unveiling a new TV spot that features global sports icon Tiger Woods and McIlroy. 

ナイキ（本社：オレゴン州ビーバートン、マーク・パーカー社長兼CEO）はアブダビ（アラブ首長国連邦）で1月14日、ロリー・マキロイとエンドースメント契約したと発表した。

契約は10年間、総額２億5,000万ドルで、クラブ、ボール、フットウエア、グローブ、アパレル、ヘッドウエア、アクセサリーの着用が義務づけられている。マキロイは「Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship」（1月17〜20日）でナイキアスリートとしてデビューした。

Nike Golf announced at a press conference in Abu Dhabi that Rory McIlroy has signed a multi-year agreement with the company. He is making his debut as a Nike athlete at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Golf Championship.

ナイキはタイガー・ウッズとも契約しているが、マキロイはタイガー・ウッズの再来と呼ばれている若手最大のホープである。これでナイキは新旧世代を代表する２人のプレイヤーを獲得したことになる。発表と同時に、２人が共演する60秒のTVスポットも発表された。16日からESPN、The Golf channelで放映される。
